El Paradiso Mio

My deep affection for black and white art started during my university years. I was granted the rare and precious opportunity to delve into the realm of traditional printing techniques, which at the time of my studies were usually black and white.

The act of meticulously working with analog printing methods provided me with a profound insight into the subtle nuances and delicate interplay of light and shadow in black and white imagery. Each subtle alteration in contrast and tone, became a means of infusing emotion and depth into the monochromaticartwork. The study of intaglio techniques has as well significantly influenced my approach to black and white photography.

Some works from this collection have been awarded with Honorable Mention Awards at International Photography Awards and Prix De La Photography Paris (PX3)
